Senior Manufacturing Engineer x 2
£30,000 - £35,000 + (negotiable dependant on experience) Overtime, Pension & Life Assurance
Location – Newport
Due to continued demand for their excellent and market leading products, my client has an immediate requirement for two manufacturing engineers to join its South Wales based team. Daily responsibilities will include;
• Continuous improvement of the current manufacturing process
• Regular liaison with the design, procurement and build and test teams including review and process improvement
• Minimization of inventory levels and the maintain of “right first time” manufacturability
• Contractor management
• Production of line / cell layouts
This position is crucial to the productivity and efficiency of the manufacturing department. The manufacturing Engineers will be professionally organised individuals with good analytical and communication skills and a solid understanding of continuous improvement techniques.
Senior Manufacturing Engineer x 2

Location – Newport
The manufacturing engineer will be educated to a minimum of HND, preferably degree level in an appropriate discipline and ideally have a strong background in low to medium volume high technology manufacturing processes where the product has a high capital value.
Reporting directly into the manufacturing engineering manager the manufacturing engineer will be able to communicate effectively and influence decisions at all levels. Experience in the management or coordination of a team of engineers and third parties will also be essential.
The Manufacturing Engineers salary will be between £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience and industry knowledge. There is also overtime available, Life Assurance and a Contributory Pension Scheme.
