Project Manager (French speaking)

My client is a well-established leader in the provision of clean water and the treatment of wastewater. They currently require a French Speaking Project Manager on a permanent basis to manage and control the development of a water treatment facility in Algeria. The Project Manager will receive a competitive salary of up to £100,000 (tax free) as well as a range of benefits including international health cover, accommodation and transport.
With responsibility for maintaining effective client relationships, it is essential that the project manager is fluent in French (spoken and written) and has previous experience of managing plant construction overseas.
Reporting to the Head of European Operations the Project Manager’s scope of responsibility includes:
- Overall project management and control
- Monitor and report progress against construction – notification to senior management
- Ensure compliance with company, contract and client procedures (including Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality)
- Leadership, motivation and development of staff
The Project Manager must be degree qualified in Civil Engineering and have understanding of FIDIC contracts. Previous experience of working on water projects abroad.
