My client is a market leader within the Engineering market. Due to continual growth and company expansion they now seek an Engineering Manager with exceptional experience in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing.
To apply for this position applicants will be degree educated and have at least 10 years proven production / manufacturing management experience. You will be a Continuous Improvement / Lean specialist and poses the ability to manage and coach other engineers in relative techniques. Experience of tooling design, CNC / Robotic Programming, Jig and Fixture Supply or Compression Moulding is also essential. The chose Engineering Manager will have strong leadership skills, some knowledge of ECRN, NIA, CAPA, CAR, as well as obtain the ability to inspire more junior engineers.

Main responsibilities will include;
• Co-ordinate with the Quality Control, NPD, Production, Logistics and Purchasing departments
• Manage departmental budgets
• Implement and co-ordinate Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
• Deliver budgetary savings – via continuous improvement techniques
• Lead and motivate the various engineering teams
