My client is looking for a Contracts Operations Manager from a Marine / Terminal background. Due to the location my client can only employ US citizens or Equatorial Guinea citizens as they have incurred VISA problems in the past.
Working within the oil rich Corisco Bay you will act as the General Manager of a Terminal. Reporting into the General Manager of Operations you will manage all operations, develop future marine marketing opportunities in the Oil & Gas industry within the region, and liaise closely with Clients on technical and commercial issues.
Applicants will have a maritime qualification and have run operations of a similar magnitude before.
Knowledge of terminal operations, commercial acumen, contractual agreements, cost awareness is essential. There are 2 Tugs on this Terminal and the contract is due to run until 2017! Applicants will have a self starter, be Spanish speaking and have at least 4 years Terminal experience.

- Manage different cultures
- Liaise closely with consultants, contractors, subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with contractual and statutory obligations on current contracts
- Promote company policy on SHEQ
- Ability to improve budget
- Marketing the company products
- Vessel Audit
