Structural Engineer / Naval Architect

The successful Structural / Naval Architect will be working for a market leader in Scotland. Responsible for the design and structural analysis of marine vessels of all sizes.
The Structural / Naval Architect will be responsible for the conduct of Naval Architecture activities in support of defence and commercial clients and the management of small project teams.
Daily Activities will include design and detailed arrangement drawings, design and analysis of ship structures including stability analysis and structural surveys, Scantling calculations to Classification Society Rules, Longitudinal strength analysis, Shear flow analysis, Shock analysis and more.

Applicants proficient in packages such as Naucticus, Paramarine, Tribon and CAD design tools and have a very strong background in the marine industry.
