My Client is looking for a practically minded Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their team and demonstrate drive and motivation to succeed within a manufacturing / design company based in the South West area.
To apply for this position it is essential that you hold a BEng Hons in an Engineering qualification. You will be able to demonstrate and give examples of your dissertation or thesis and those candidates with Design experience and previous work experience will be strongly favoured. Knowledge of AutoCAD 2d is required as well as ProE or another 3d design package.
As suppliers to industries including Heating Ventilation, Data Centres, Oil and Gas, Marine Water, and more, those graduates with summer placements with companies in those industries will be strongly favoured.
Due to the nature of the business my client has constant requirements for manufacture and is looking for the next generation of managers to develop and progress through their graduate scheme (so we require leaders not followers).

This opportunity is fantastic for a mechanical engineer who is confident in their practical ability and happy to take on responsibility appointed to them. On a daily basis you will produce mechanical designs, special purpose designs, machined and fabricated drawings, BOM’s, and Project Management as the position progresses.
