My client is a world leader within the construction industry. They currently require a number of Service Operations Engineers.

They require strong minded Engineers who have the ability to manage a team of operatives and sub contractors. You will have GNSP, and have a IOSH qualifications, those candidates with GWINTO GD and NRSWA certificates will be favoured. The successful applicants will have experience in utility contracting, have a background within building control, and be fully conversant in safety, company procedure, legislation and practice. Candidates with appreciation of internal work involved in gas mains replacement will be favoured.

Service Operations Engineer
Salary & Benefits: £40,000 + Package

The successful applicants will be responsible for managing the Internal Works Team and ensuring a high standard of design, surveying, completion and accurate data capture is maintained for the replacement of gas supplies in Multiple Occupancy Buildings (MOB). To ensure equipment (materials, plant, transport), quality and safety is delivered and effectively maintained to the End User's satisfaction.

• Adhere to NLGA’s Flats procedure QWI202 ensuring that safety and quality standards are maintained and delivered.
• Support the Supervisor’s to ensure that the safest and best cost replacement option for the MOB is delivered.
• Keep employees informed of all risks and hazards associated with the MOB replacement work.
• Produce a design for the replacement work that complies with the necessary codes of practice.
• To liaise with Local Authorities, Freeholders, supply chain partners and end users (Customer) at site level to ensure good customer satisfaction is achieved.
• Support the Supervisor’s to ensure that every aspect of the asset installed as per the design is captured accurately and recorded on the correct proforma, and returned to the appropriate location in the designated time period as stipulated in NLGA flats process.
