Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Wiltshire
Contract: 6 months with possibility of extension
Rate: negotiable
We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to work a 6 month contract in Wiltshire.
As a result of an increase in production requirements, they are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer from a Lean Manufacturing Engineering background. The chosen Manufacturing Engineer will ideally be apprentice trained with a degree, or at least have a HND in a relevant Engineering discipline - Materials, Manufacturing, Production etc.
Candidates must have previous experience of hands on metal cutting, CNC programming and Jig & Fixture design, CAD/CAM and Autocad. You will be comfortable creating documentation of processes, producing BOM's and working closely with the Quality team to ensure that the manufacturing processes adhere to the companies quality standards.
Additionally, you will ideally come from a high quality, low volume production background.
Main responsibilities will include;
• To help lead their Lean program
• CNC programming
• Documentation Control
• Regulatory control
• Report writing
