My client over the next few months is looking to recruit up to five Senior Project Managers. Offering a very competitive salary up to £40,000 as well as a rewarding benefits package this is an excellent opportunity to cement yourself in one of South Wales’s fastest growing companies.
The chosen candidates will be degree qualified and have a solid mechanical engineering background. Extensive product development experience as well as 5 years Project Management experience within a manufacturing environment is also required. Excellent new product introduction and continuous improvement knowledge is essential, so to an understanding or appreciation of CAE, FEA or CFD. Knowledge of a variety of materials from plastic to metal is also desired as well sheet metal knowledge.
On a daily basis your duties within this role will include:
• Shaping, Co-ordinating and Delivering Projects to meet company standards and time dead lines
• Liaise with design engineers, project engineers, quality engineers, manufacturing engineers
• Project manage from initial concept through to completion
• Help with design, FEA, FMEA aspect
• Product Development, NPI and Continuous Improvement
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing would be advantageous
