One of our leading clients requires a highly motivated and highly skilled Engineering Manager to hit the ground running and add value to both their management team and Design House.
The chosen candidate requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. A proven track record of successful product design and development with a minimum of 5 years, and 3D modelling experience is required. Applicants require 3-5 years experience working within the Automotive Industry, including under bonnet products as well as an understanding of QS9000 / TS16949 and FEA. Experience providing senior technical leadership and guidance, project management, liaising with quality and manufacturing departments is also required. Candidates with experience of thermoplastic materials used in injection moulding process will be strongly favoured.

The chosen Engineering Manager will provide technical leadership and guidance to other Design Engineers and R&D Engineers. You will manage projects from initial concept through to completion, liaising closely with customer and management teams, senior engineers and sales staff.
