Principle Engineer
£30,000 to £45,000 – negotiable
+ Pension + package
Commutable from Newcastle / Sunderland / Blyth / Darlington
Applicants MUST be Degree Qualified in either Naval Architecture, Marine, Oil and Gas or a similar discipline. Those that are chartered will be favoured. Leadership / Management experience is desirable. Applicants must also be British or have lived in the UK for the last 3 years.
Daily Activities will include;
• Develop, maintain and control the technical interface to customers, suppliers and collaborators.
• Prepare and oversee the definition of system requirements.
• Prep and oversee design and detailed arrangement drawings, design and analysis of ship structures including stability analysis and structural surveys, Scantling calculations to Classification Society Rules, Longitudinal strength analysis, Shear flow analysis, Shock analysis and more.
• Manage assigned budgets and direct, lead, coach and motivate other employees.
