Electrical Design Engineer (Data Centres)
Location: Scotland Central Belt
Contract postion
Rate: £23 - £25 per hour
Intapeople have an immediate requirement for a talented electrical design engineer with a strong background of designing mission critical systems such as UPS systems, standby generators, etc, within a data centre environment. You will be responsible, initially for carrying out feasibility studies, followed by design to stage C. There is also a possibility of carrying out a dual role, with potential power station work available.
Please only apply for this position if you meet the following criteria:
- 5 years experience of critical systems electrical detail design
- Strong data centre background
- Ideally degree educated in a building services / engineering related subject
- Previous experience of carrying out feasibility studies
- experience of drawing single line diagrams and sizing equipment
- any previous background in the petrochem industry would be advantageous
