Our client is a market leader, who is developing day by day and is currently represented in a number of countries. As a result of this continual growth they are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with strong experience within Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
The chosen Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Engineer will either be chartered, hold a degree, or at least have a HND in a relevant Engineering discipline - Materials, Manufacturing, Production etc with 5 years relevant experience. A Lean / Continuous improvement qualification e.g. 6 sigma green belt, black belt is required. Knowledge and experience running Continuous Improvement Projects within either a tooling environment, material handling, CNC machining will be advantageous.

The Continuous Improvement Engineer will consistently liaise with the UK Continuous Improvement Manager and other Lean 6th Sigma Managers.
Main responsibilities will include;
• To help lead their Lean program
• Project Manage a wide range of measurable short, medium and long term lean initiatives
• Continuously improve production through Lean Manufacturing
• Deliver budgeted savings to manufacture costs
• Ensure weekly and monthly KPI’s are hit
• Toyota, 6th Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, VSM, SMED, DMAIC, TPM projects.
